We reviewed some of the Android Apps available on Play Store for managing inventory.
The below list does not rank the apps in any order.
Every business owner at some point in time needs to track their inventory flow. Otherwise, there can be a mismatch of actual stock count, which can lead to a loss in business. Especially, when there are workers working under you, then you need to be cautious about the actual inventory count. So, it is recommended that you update the stock count daily on some software, to remain in control of your business.
We reviewed some of the free Inventory Management Apps on Play Store and came up with the below list.
1. Inventory Management (by Industrial IT)
Price:
h. The app also has feature for low inventory items and out of stock items notification reminders.
i. The app also has Barcode Support.
So far this app is good. I wish there was an auto fill feature when it comes to adding inventory. Once you become accustom to the fields it is rather simple to use this app. Now about the website version, which does not look anything like the phone app. If the same links (i.e. Master Setup) were available that would be nice. There should be a link (tab) in order for us to search by categories to simplify things
7. Stock Controller - inventories (by XNR Sisbi)
Price:
Free for upto 50 products in the account. (Contains ads)
Some helpful comments on Play Store:
I think it is a great app and does what you need and a little more. Great job at getting it user friendly but can do with a little more work. Make it a little more intuitive, saying that it is pretty good. Just one more bug bear, it does not tell you how many users you can have. And i am reluctant to buy the full app in case i wont have enough user slots.
The best simple stock or warehouse management I've tried so far. For a one time payment of EUR19.99, it does what it suppose to do and is so flexible. I have been using it for 2 months now and so far have not even contacted support because it is easy, simple, useful, and flexible. Update 20170811: People from support dept are very professional, personable, and helpful. Just encountered them recently....

Some helpful comments on Play Store:
Great app. Easy and simple. Missing feature I am looking for. Sending automatic email notification when an item goes below a specific stock amount. Many other features could be implemented in terms of customization, but then again, it would take the ‘lightness’ of the app away. Great potential. Great work.
Seems it’s the one I was looking for to manage my product list in mobile. Great work.

This app is exactly what I was looking for and I'm very excited about it! The platform and layout is well done for the most part. I understand that this platform is cloud based only and it seems you can only access the app when online. The issue I personally have is that my warehousing unit is located in a remote area with limited data access. It would be nice to have an offline feature and later be able to sync when online.
